Seniors’ Program offers a safe and friendly space for older adults (age 55+) from diverse cultures to meet
The program
- reduces social isolation of 'at risk' ethnic seniors
- supports development of social networks
- promotes health and wellness
- builds self esteem and self confidence to lead an independent life
Program activities:
- walk and talk social - an opportunity to enjoy fresh air and and exercise while enjoying the conversation and social participation of other participants
- men's social program - offers social time, health promotion education and a light lunch
Currently, there is a wait period of approximately one year for programs offered on Tue and Thu
